In this irreverent superhero adventure, Deadpool’s world is turned upside down when he learns his universe is on the brink of destruction. The Time Variance Authority (TVA) recruits him with the tempting offer of joining the MCU, but there’s a catch – his universe is doomed because Wolverine, its linchpin, is dead.
Determined to save his world, Deadpool embarks on a multiverse-hopping quest to find a replacement Wolverine. After encountering various comical versions, he settles for a cynical, alcoholic Logan variant. Their plans go awry when a rogue TVA agent named Paradox prunes them both, sending them to The Void – a dumping ground for timeline rejects.
In The Void, Deadpool and Wolverine reluctantly team up, crossing paths with other forgotten heroes and facing off against Cassandra Nova, Charles Xavier’s twisted sister. They encounter a resistance group led by Laura Kinney, Wolverine’s daughter from another timeline, along with variants of Elektra, Blade, and Gambit.
As Deadpool learns about the tragic past that shaped this Wolverine variant, they form an unlikely bond. Together with their new allies, they launch an assault on Cassandra’s stronghold. The mission takes an unexpected turn when they uncover Paradox’s true agenda – to destroy Deadpool’s universe even faster using a device called the Time Ripper.
Returning to Deadpool’s universe, our anti-heroes face off against the Deadpool Corps – a multiversal team of Deadpool variants – before confronting Paradox and Cassandra. In a climactic moment, Deadpool and Wolverine seemingly sacrifice themselves to stop the Time Ripper, only to survive thanks to their healing factors.
With Paradox arrested and the threat neutralized, Deadpool’s universe is saved. The TVA allows the rescue of their Void allies, but can’t undo the tragedy in Wolverine’s past. The film concludes with Deadpool inviting Wolverine to stay in his universe, reuniting with his friends, and rekindling his relationship with Vanessa.
This zany adventure blends action, humor, and heart, bringing together beloved characters from various Marvel properties in a way only Deadpool could manage.
